The whole loop is: fork a wing, reshape it, check the numbers, export a file, build it. Ten minutes the first time. Here is each step.
Before exporting, choose a construction route. See What am I building? for which files stay in the wing and which are tooling.
Open the reef and pick a shape near what you want, then hit Fork this design on its page. You get a working wing with real numbers on it already, and the credit line travels with your copy. Or start from one of the six templates in your library: Pump, Glide, Carve, Runner, Dart and Steady cover most of how people actually ride. Pump and Glide are proportioned from the middle of current production wings in their categories.
Three groups. Design is the wing itself: Curves for the planform, Size for span and chord, Twist, Wingtip, Sections for the airfoils along the span, Reference for ghosting a 3D model behind your wing. Analysis is the performance numbers: Fluid, Polar, Structure. Build is fabrication output: Mold, Core, Plies.
In Design, drag a control point and the metrics update live. Moving things and watching what happens is the fastest way to get a feel for it. You can't break anything; every wing in the reef is a fork away from restoring.
The Sections page has the foil catalog: search it, compare polars, or upload a .dat file of your own. Back in the designer, the Sections tab applies your pick along the span.
The Analysis group shows lift, drag, and structural checks as you shape. Every calculation is documented on the Methods page, with its assumptions and limits stated plainly. Treat the numbers as design guidance for your own judgment, not gospel.
The export menu sits above the viewport. STL is the mesh for 3D printing, free with an account. STEP is the CAD solid, and Mold tooling, Print kit (a shell + core STL pair for slicer infill control), and Ply cut files are the deeper fabrication outputs; those are Pro, as is advanced shaping beyond the free limits. The designer itself is free either way, and a chip in the file bar tells you before the export door, never at it.
Publish your wing (unlisted works too) and pin photos of the physical build to its page. The reef only works if people put things in it, and a photographed build is the best proof a design flies.
