The Wingtip tab shapes the tip outline and the tip's height.
The section rings continue past the planform tip and narrow to a small blunt end ring. This is real span: switching it off squares the wing off at the tip and shortens it.
The gold tip points set the outline. Drag them in the viewport (fore/aft and spanwise) or steer the outermost one with the sliders. Everything is a fraction of the tip chord, so the tip keeps its character when the wing resizes.
Reset to default cap discards a sculpted outline and returns the tip to the generated default for this planform.
The wingtip's height is the dihedral curve carried past the junction with its own curvature; by default there is nothing to adjust. Add a tip point for extra curl: it deviates smoothly (G3 at the junction) and never changes the wing's dihedral inboard of it. Reset to wing curvature removes every tip-dihedral point.
Adding a tip point makes the design an advanced wing: saving it takes only a free account, exporting it is Pro.
